Create an account and choose the right workspace.

Create your Skylancer account

  1. 1Select Sign up from the navigation and enter your name, email address, and a secure password.
  2. 2Verify your details, then sign in to open your marketplace workspace.
  3. 3Use Client hub when you hire or Freelancer studio when you offer services.

Keep your account secure

  1. 1Use a unique password and sign out when you use a shared device.
  2. 2Keep all project conversations and payment activity within Skylancer.
  3. 3Report suspicious requests through Safety & Support.

For clients

Find talent, fund work, and manage delivery.

Hire a freelancer

  1. 1Browse services or search by skill, category, and budget.
  2. 2Open a service page to review packages, delivery terms, portfolio work, and approved reviews.
  3. 3Choose a package, provide a clear brief, and place your order.

Fund secure escrow

  1. 1Open the order from Client hub or Orders.
  2. 2Select Fund secure escrow and complete payment on the secure checkout page.
  3. 3Wait for the order to show Funds in Escrow before work begins.

Review delivered work

  1. 1Open the order when the freelancer marks it delivered.
  2. 2Request a revision when the agreed work needs changes, or approve completion when it meets the brief.
  3. 3Leave an honest review once the order is complete.

For freelancers

Build trust, publish services, and manage projects.

Set up your freelancer profile

  1. 1Open Freelancer studio and complete your profile, skills, and professional bio.
  2. 2Add relevant portfolio examples and set your availability.
  3. 3Submit verification details when prompted to build marketplace trust.

Create a service

  1. 1In Freelancer studio, add a service with a focused title, category, and clear description.
  2. 2Set packages that explain scope, delivery time, revisions, and price.
  3. 3Add portfolio examples, then publish when the listing is accurate.

Manage an active order

  1. 1Use the order workspace to read the client brief and keep communication in one place.
  2. 2Deliver work through the order when it is ready for review.
  3. 3Respond promptly to revision requests and use the dispute process if resolution is needed.

Payments and safety

Understand secure payments, support, and disputes.

How escrow protects an order

  1. 1The client funds the agreed order through secure checkout.
  2. 2The order shows funds held before the freelancer starts work.
  3. 3Funds are released only after the agreed work is completed, subject to marketplace terms.

Get help or raise a dispute

  1. 1First, keep communication focused on the agreed brief and delivery requirements.
  2. 2If an issue cannot be resolved, open the order and use Raise dispute.
  3. 3For safety concerns or general guidance, visit Safety & Support and submit a request.
